CLUB MEMBERSHIP & INSURANCE 

  1. All children must have Rickmansworth Gymnastic membership *
  2. 2. All children must have British Gymnastics insurance and membership*

GYMNASTS 

  1. Please be punctual and leave time for changing before the class so as not to miss the warmup. 
  2. All gymnasts should wear suitable clothing: 

Girls - leotards or club t-shirt with shorts/leggings 

Boys - club t-shirt, or boys leotard with shorts/tracksuit bottoms No Denim or school uniforms 

  1. Long hair must always be tied neatly 
  2. No Long or false nails as this can cause injury 
  3. No jewellery/watches to be worn in the gym 
  4. Do not work on any apparatus without being instructed by a coach 7. Misbehaviour, excessive and unnecessary noise will not be tolerated, and offenders will be asked to leave the gym 
  5. Do not cross areas where other gymnasts are working 
  6. No running in the gym, unless instructed by a coach 
  7. As a matter of courtesy and safety, gymnasts should ask permission to leave the gym during a training session 
  8. No outdoor shoes should be worn in the gym 
  9. No food to be brought into the gym 
  10. Drinks - Only water allowed
  11. Please treat your coaches and fellow gymnasts with respect 15. Sickness - Vomit and stomach virus - Please allow 48 hours after a virus before returning to the club 

PARENTS/VISITORS 

  1. If you are staying the club while your child in the lesson, you can use the seating area, the Square, to wait. This is available on a Wednesday evening and Saturday daytime. If you have other children with you, please ensure that they do not run around any other areas of the school. Children must be supervised at all times 
  2. The Reach Free School have a policy that dogs are not allowed on site, even if on a lead. Dogs must remain in the car park area only and are not permitted onto any other areas of the school premises 
  3. Scooters and bikes left outside the gym are left at your own risk and responsibility 
  4. Please remember we are not responsible for children outside their class hours. 5. Young children should be collected from the sports hall, not the car park. 6. Please arrive 5 minutes before the class ends when picking up your child. 7. No high heel shoes in the sports hall. 

BADGE TESTING 

Gymnasts are tested on the badge at the end of each term, apart from the Summer Term, when Club Championships are held. The club cannot take any responsibility if a child is tested on the wrong badge. Pleasure ensure you advise reception if you child has completed a badge at another club.
